Where I’m From

Demographic plurality in Los Angeles and Orange Counties, using 2020 US Census Data (Justice Map at www.justicemap.org).

To live and (not) die in La

Born and raised in Southern California, the most demographically diverse regions of the United States.

Car culture, nobody walks in LA. So as soon as I could drive, my friends and I were driving all over the Southland.

All these explorations for activities, concerts, parties, clubs, outdoor festivals, flea markets/swapmeets, sporting events, nature trails, cultural neighborhoods, camping, beaches, etc.

Transfers & Travels

I forged my own path. From a highschooler prepping for a business degree, to a transfer student focusing in geography.

I’ve earned a Bachelor’s in Geography and History. A Master’s in Geography, specializing in Human Geographies.

I went on to travel the world, teach geography, and take a lot of pictures. Ultimately, I moved to the coast of southeastern North Carolina.

Always moving, always learning. Road trips or certificates, I collect.

I could not see myself. I could not hear anything but negativity.

Traumatized, stigmatized, & Marginalized

There’s no pity parties to invite you to. Like for many, life is hard.

I’ve learned a lot. Who I am. What happened to me. What did I do. Where have I found myself. And, what the fuck am I doing here?

It’s allieration that works: authenticity, awareness, acceptance, and actualization. Join me.
